The flow measurement of circulating cooling water in the mold of continuous casting machine is the key link of continuous casting process. This makes the electromagnetic flowmeter in the measurement of the field circulating water flow will be interfered, resulting in abnormal current output. However, once there is an abnormal output, the system will give an alarm, send out an interlock stop command, and eventually lead to stop affecting production, causing major economic losses and even safety accidents.
According to authoritative analysis, only a few manufacturers at home and abroad can stably apply electromagnetic flowmeter to the mold of continuous casting machine in steel plant.
